Diving into the world of Machine Learning! Here are some snapshots from yesterday’s interesting workshop led by Anaïs Pepey and Asia Noble! We learned more about #machinelearning and #AI, and its utility in analysing #datasets from scientific research, such as Anaïs’ work on #malaria. Then our participants got some hands-on experience with #Python and #Jupyter Notebooks. 🐍📒 🙌 A huge thank you to AllWomen for hosting us in your sunny office and to Anaïs and Asia for being excellent #guides for our participants! What a great Employability Session yesterday at Globant! A huge thank you to Verónica Contreras, Lorena Acosta Raluy, ♾️ Violeta Gibaja Gomez Crespo 🌈, and Florencia de Elia Salgado for your insightful presentations and to the whole team at Globant Spain for helping us organise such an engaging session. We covered many topics, from how to write a good #CV to navigating the #job market as a UX/UI professional, and tips for a successful job #interview. Here are just some tips that were shared yesterday: 🌱 Include volunteering experience in your CV - it makes you stand out and helps to show what you’re passionate about 🎨 Tailor your experiences and knowledge to each job role and the specific company 👀 Ask a friend or family member to look over your CV to check for typos Thanks for everyone who came along - we hope the session left you inspired and motivated in your job search!
