AI took center stage at our recent 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸, where we witnessed its transformative potential firsthand. Hosted at the One World Trade Center, the event gathered industry leaders and AI practitioners to explore how GenAI will revolutionize various industries. 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗜: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Pranay Agrawal's inspiring keynote ignited the conversation on how GenAI will drive breakthrough productivity gains across life, business, and society. He delved into the concept of embedding intelligence into every product, service, and process. Pranay provided insights on building successful AI applications and structuring organizations for long-term AI success. 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 Dipita Chakraborty hosted a panel discussion where our guest speakers shared their AI journey and the impact of GenAI on their progress. They debated the role of AI amidst economic uncertainties, emphasizing the importance of adoption and scalability for value generation. The conversation also highlighted the need for robust data foundations and operational readiness to achieve scale. 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗜: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 Priya Sathiyam's roundtable explored how to move beyond POCs and harness GenAI's potential to improve operational effectiveness, drive better business decisions, accelerate product development, imagine the future of business, and engage audiences seamlessly. 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗜: 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 Dylan Dias's roundtable focused on key themes for scaling GenAI: platform and tooling; data; model catalogs and fitment; interactions; and governance and operations. It highlighted the design choices and trade-offs typically made while building enterprise-grade GenAI assets. 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Chris Hansen’s roundtable explored how deductive, inductive, and abductive types of reasoning could be applied to determine the value of GenAI, ranging from cost and quality improvements to strategic and ethical considerations. We addressed questions on realized value, the impact of continual tuning, and the current state of the GenAI hype cycle.
