The GBMC Black Alliance Employee Resource Group invited all GBMC HealthCare staff to join the GBMC Juneteenth Jubilee, a holiday celebrated annually to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. Staff enjoyed live music, dance, delicious food, and speakers. As we celebrate Juneteenth this year, we hope that everyone continues to honor and recognize Black liberation on this day and beyond. Thank you to everyone who made our Juneteenth celebration a success!

The Greater Pride employee resource group led a team at the Baltimore Pride Parade on Saturday, June 15, and participated in Pride in the Park on Sunday, June 16, providing education and information to the community. Throughout June, the Greater Pride Employee Resource Group hosted events to support Pride Month. Pride Month commemorates the ongoing pursuit of equal justice for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community and celebrates the accomplishments of LGBTQ individuals.
