In my early years as a learning consultant, I discovered that defining the involvement for each stakeholder group establishes alignment and keeps a project on track. So it's probably a good idea to pick a model that clearly define those roles. For this purpose, I like the RACI model. RACI stands for responsible. The people executing the deliverable work like software engineers building the learning platform. Accountable, the single person or group who approves completed work. That's you. You're the customer and the project owner. Consulted, subject matter experts advising the developers. This might include instructional designers, talent development managers and content specialists. And finally, informed, people who receive updates on the project without providing direct contributions. This group might include senior leaders who can provide funding and help remove roadblocks to completion or learners who are going to receive release notes to prepare them for a new way of learning…
