Founded in 1956, Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is the premier specialty retailer of high-quality products for the home. Our family of brands includes Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, West Elm, Williams-Sonoma Home, Rejuvenation, and Mark and Graham. These brands are among the best known and most respected in the industry. We offer beautifully-designed, stylish and functional products for every area of the home, including the kitchen, living room, bedroom, home office, closet, laundry room, and even outdoor spaces. We've seen some big changes since our first brick-and-mortar store opened more than half of a century ago. What hasn't changed is our passion for high-quality products, functional design, outstanding customer service, and enhancing the lives of our customers and the communities where we operate. In 2017, we acquired Outward, Inc., a 3-D imaging and augmented reality platform for the home furnishings and décor industry. Today, we're a multi-brand, multi-channel, global enterprise supported by state-of-the-art technology and some of the most talented teams in retailing - and we're always looking for new energy and ideas.

    Our first Annual Associate Wellness Fair was a hit! Associates took a break from their day-to-day work to learn about our health benefits, sign up for local fitness sessions, sip smoothies, relax with a chair massage, win prizes, enjoy a nutritious lunch, and discover ways the company is here to promote and support all of us living a more “Healthfull Life”. Thank you to the hundreds of associates who participated, the amazing Wellness Team who organized the events, and all of our Wellness Partners who made this possible: FITNESS SF, Barry's, Crunch Fitness, SoulCycle Inc., Tyler Washington, Exubrancy, a Tishman Speyer company, Cigna Healthcare Americas (EAP & Medical), MetLife, Delta Dental of California, VSP Vision Care, Charles Schwab and Kaiser Permanente.

    This year, WSI proudly sponsored the 39th annual AIDS Walk New York, bringing together over 8,000 people who raised $1,872,909 for GMHC and other tri-state area HIV and AIDS services organizations. Associates from our West Elm corporate team, West Elm, and Williams Sonoma store teams took part along with their families and loved ones, representing WSI’s commitment to supporting our community.

    West Elm has recently announced the debut of a new collaboration with acclaimed interior designer, Billy Cotton. The 25-piece collection of home pieces includes furniture, tableware, and decorative accessories designed to seamlessly incorporate into any space or aesthetic.  “We’re so happy to present Billy’s first collection with West Elm,” says Day Kornbluth, President of West Elm. “He is a designer in the truest sense—obsessed with how beauty and function come together to improve our lives. We share a belief that great design is for everyone and are proud to partner in bringing these fantastic pieces to life.”   Billy Cotton states, “When the opportunity to work with West Elm came it was an immediate yes. I felt they were uniquely positioned to be able to bring fresh new American design to their broad customer base. We designed 25 pieces that people interact with daily. These very high-touch objects blend both beauty and practicality. From your bed to your cereal bowl and dining chairs, I am excited to see these objects in people’s homes.”

    WSI’s emerging monogramming and gift brand Mark & Graham is always looking at new and creative ways to connect, inspire, and engage audiences. The team was excited to recently spread the news during NYFW about the launch of their print-focused CW Stockwell collaboration with an innovative printed newspaper with the headline “Long Live Print.” The iconic tropical print has long been a favorite of fashion and interior designers and in the era of all things digital, the newspaper style connected with readers who enjoyed the content in a vibrant and fun format! We’re looking forward to more headlines from Mark & Graham in 2024.

The annual list honors the top 100 of the country’s 1,000 largest publicly traded companies for their achievements and efforts related to various environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics.
