CB2 is a modern home brand with a boutique-like attitude. Our vibe is elevated, with a little edge.
About us
At CB2 we’re known for our unique take on design. The magic is in the mix of edgy and elevated. Raw and refined. We love trends but don’t live by them. We’re more into that timeless cool-factor. Home is where personal style comes to life. And we’re here to inspire in any way we can. To help you fill your home with things you love, that aren’t too expensive and that you’ll never regret. As a brand, we champion inclusivity, kindness, love and respect. We try to be good corporate citizens and take big and small actions towards that goal everyday. CB2 enthusiastically supports Humble Design Chicago. A non-profit that transforms empty, cold houses for the recently homeless into warm, welcoming and uplifting places where they can restart their lives. It’s amazing what a difference a furnished home can make for families emerging from homelessness. Learn more about Humble Design here. We always celebrate Pride partnering annually with GLSEN. In addition to our generous donation, we’ve hosted in store events and wore our pride through limited edition t-shirts during Pride month to show our unwavering support. At CB2 HQ, everyday has its own playlist. Music makes its way into almost everything we do from how we define the vibe of a new collection or set the mood in our stores. In 2017 we launched a series of live concerts, in our stores, featuring some of our favorite artists: Francis and the Lights, Kacy Hill, and ???. It was such a huge success we decided to make it a forever thing. Learn about upcoming concerts check out cb2.com/afterhours. From our store associates all around the country to our buyers, planners and creatives in Chicago, CB2 has some of the most clever, interesting and creative people we’ve ever met. Our stores are filled with their energy, their unique take on products, their stories and inspirations. Like our people, our brand isn’t about a certain look or style, it’s about an attitude. We make what we love. And hope you love it too.

The BÉIS Travel office is anything but corporate, and we were happy to partner with them alongside the plant stylings of The Plant Daddies in LA and select vintage pieces curated by Interior Designer Chad Wood. “Even if I’m not needing a space to design, I’m constantly on the [CB2] website. Similar to BÉIS, it combines stylish pieces with functionality, always.” – Shay Mitchell, Founder, BÉIS

Oat milk in coffee? Vegan donuts from Do-Rite? Yes and yes! Thank you to the Crate & Barrel Holdings “Green Collab” employee resource group for giving us a head start on Earth Day celebrations today with a delicious morning spread of vegan treats at our Chicago offices and photo studio. Small changes can lead to big improvements, and this was a tasty way to try some new things and learn more about the benefits of a vegan diet. #crateandbarrel #cb2 #sustainability #earthday

We love a unique moment. This week, our Chicago team enjoyed a "Give You Your Flowers" floral workshop hosted by CBH DEI Director Melanie Muñoz-Durrant and led by Angelica Rivera Varela, owner of Semillas Plant Studio in the Pilson neighborhood of Chicago. Together, we celebrated women's strength, beauty, and resilience through notes of gratitude and colorful bouquets made for and by each guest. #womenshistorymonth

“There are two things happening at CB2 right now that we find endlessly exciting. The first is their ongoing collaboration with the estates of design legends like Paul McCobb and Gianfranco Frattini…. The other initiative is something that we mentioned in our Q&A with Evan Jerry of Studio Anansi last summer: the Black in Design Collective, which brings together, under Jerry’s curation, works by 13 Black designers.” — Deborah Shapiro Sighted / Sight Unseen Paid Patron #CB2 #Spring #ProductDesign #FurnitureDesign

CB2's Black in Design Collective is a global collection of works from Black artists and designers, curated in partnership with Evan Jerry of Studio ANANSI. We're welcoming two new designers to the collective this season, leading Niamey-based architect Mariam Issoufou Kamara and Lagos-based Nifemi Marcus-Bello– both stalwarts and proponents of West African design. Read WWD Sofia Celeste's story about the cultural influences and design philosophies driving the two designers today. https://lnkd.in/gXyYpxR9 #Design #CB2
