We could all use a fun little trip... 😉🚗 🇫🇷 With more than 16M visitors expected in France this summer, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of Uber Bubbles – the first ever champagne tour bookable directly in the Uber app. The latest exclusive experience in our ‘Go Anywhere’ series of travel products, it will be available all summer long, offering riders access to one of Europe’s most premium and iconic regions at the tap of a button. In partnership with beloved champagne houses Perrier-Jouët and G.H. Mumm, Uber Bubbles puts the heart of France’s champagne region at your fingertips. The full day trip includes a 10:00am pickup in Paris in an Uber Bubbles-branded Tesla, with the first stop along the journey a champagne tasting of three cuvées and lunch at Perrier-Jouët’s Cellier Belle Époque in Épernay. Afterwards, riders will be whisked to Maison G.H. Mumm in Reims for a special cellar visit and a Cordon Rouge tasting before heading back to Paris for dropoff in the early evening. After four days of connecting with the best in the business, we're feeling more energized than ever about our partnerships and the future of the industry. Here are our takeaways from our time in Chicago: 💡Relationships matter. Spending time in person with our restaurant partners—whether in our Growth Garden, on the event floor, or out in the city—ignited critical conversations about their progress, goals, and visions for taking our partnership further. 🚀 Delivery is dynamically evolving. Restaurant operators are embracing new tools—they’re launching marketing campaigns on platforms like Uber Eats, enhancing their online ordering experience, and using solutions like Uber Direct to power on-demand delivery from their own channels. 🥙 Customers are craving catering. There was a notable amount of discussion around the rise in large order requests and the necessity of working with partners who can deliver these orders reliably. 🤝 Partnership is key. Essa semana, a Uber celebra 10 anos no Brasil 🇧🇷 🚗. Ao longo dessa década, mais de 120 milhões de brasileiros usaram o nosso app e 5 milhões de pessoas encontraram na nossa plataforma uma fonte de renda. Ao todo, foram mais 11 bilhões de viagens no país e R$ 140 bilhões repassados aos motoristas e entregadores parceiros. Esses números revelam a grandiosidade e a importância do Brasil para a Uber, algo que foi muito enfatizado durante a visita do CEO da empresa, Dara Khosrowshahi, ao país. Além de conferir de perto o trabalho que vem sendo realizado localmente, Dara fez uma série de anúncios, começando com um pacote de ajuda ao Rio Grande do Sul que inclui R$ 10 milhões em assistência emergencial para os motoristas parceiros e mais de R$ 1 milhão para apoiar a comunidade gaúcha por meio da CUFA (BR) - Central Única das Favelas e da doação de alimentos. De olho no presente e no futuro, a empresa anunciou também o lançamento do Uber Green 🌿, a expansão da oferta de táxis no app por meio de uma parceria com a Stuo, a chegada do Uber Health e um investimento de R$ 1 bilhão ao longo dos próximos 5 anos para a expansão do Tech Center de São Paulo, com a abertura de mais de 200 vagas para o time de engenharia. Throughout the decade, more than 120 million Brazilians have used our app, and 5 million people found a source of income on the #Uber platform. In total, there were over 11 billion trips in the country and R$140 billion passed on to drivers and delivery partners. These numbers reveal the grandeur and importance of Brazil for Uber, something that was greatly emphasized during the visit of the company's CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, to the country. In addition to highlighting the work being carried out locally, Dara made a series of announcements, starting with an aid package for Rio Grande do Sul that includes R$10 million in emergency assistance for partner drivers and more than R$1 million to support the community through Central Única das Favelas (CUFA) and food donations. With an eye on the present and the future, the company also announced the launch of Uber Green 🌿 , the expansion of the taxi offering on the app through a partnership with Stuo, the arrival of Uber Health, and an investment of R$1 billion over the course of the next 5 years for the expansion of the São Paulo Tech Center, with the opening of more than 200 positions for the engineering team.
