Democratizing access to value in healthcare
About us
Pearl Health is democratizing access to value in healthcare. As a provider enablement and value-based care technology company, we help independent primary care providers reimagine how they visualize, understand, and care for their patients. We believe this starts with realigning incentives to enable financial freedom to deliver quality care as providers see fit. Starting with Medicare's ACO REACH Model, we support independent primary care providers on their transition to value, and we help them succeed in delivering quality care at a lower cost with our software and services. We launched Pearl Health to help providers who are overwhelmed by the administrative tasks that the current system demands and are suffering from the unpredictable business model of fee-for-service (FFS) Medicare. We believe there is a need to bring humanism back to healthcare by giving physicians more time with patients, increased autonomy, incentives that are aligned with better outcomes and actionable intelligence to empower clinical decision-making. Today we’re on our way from New York City to Philadelphia, and over the next two weeks we’ll be visiting PCPs in Washington DC, Richmond, Raleigh, Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Savannah, Jacksonville, and Orlando — and a string of smaller metro areas and towns. We’re honored that Jennifer Rabiner, Pearl Health’s Chief Product Officer, was selected to participate in this event alongside such an accomplished group of healthcare leaders. Thank you to the entire Break into the Boardroom (BiB) team for the opportunity!
Almost 60 women representing a broad cross section of the healthcare industry participated in this unique event to enhance their knowledge of board governance and build the skills necessary to both obtain and maintain an impactful board seat. Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to network with a diverse speaker group representing investors, recruiting and operating perspectives, as well as to begin forging bonds with their fellow attendees. Topics touched upon included: building and optimizing board experience; understanding board governance, structure and responsibilities; evaluating board fit in the context of personal skills, goals, and expectations; and developing personal value propositions. This annual event is sponsored by Deerfield Management, Oxeon, Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, and Advancium Health Network. It is part of a larger Break into the Boardroom initiative, which also provides board placements, career coaching, advancement opportunities and encourages connections to alumni and resources to support women on their board placement journey. If interested in placing a Break into the Boardroom alumna onto your board, e-mail [email protected]. A special thank you to our Keynote Speaker Christine Ann Miller; as well as Brian Regan, Renee DeSilva, Angela Hwang, Rachel Winokur, Catherine Bromilow, Devin O’Connor Deane, Julian Harris, MD, MBA, Jan Berger, Jim Hinton, Samantha Follit, Sonia Millsom, Mia Jung, and Leslie Henshaw.
