To recognize #PrideMonth, we spoke with Sierra Capone, Manager, Global Employee Engagement and Wellbeing, about the importance of embracing diversity and inclusion in the workplace. To her, Pride Month is a time of reflection, gratitude, and determination; a time to appreciate the progress the community has made. "Less than 10 years ago, I celebrated a historic day that ensured my future marriage would be recognized legally across the US, granting my wife, our family-to-be, and me the same rights and protections as my brother and his wife and family," Sierra said. "In these moments, I pause to feel grateful for how far we've come, acknowledging the tireless efforts of those who fought for LGBTQ+ equality." Professionally, Sierra believes it's crucial to recognize the impact an employee's identity has on workplace dynamics. By nurturing an environment of inclusivity and acceptance, she believes that we enable our employees to focus their energy on innovation and creativity, driving both personal and professional growth. "True well-being is achieved when employees feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work without fear of judgment or exclusion," she said. Pickles, one of America's favorite crispy, crunchy, and salty snacks, is one of the unique foods that McCormick has paired with hot sauce and other spicy flavors for a delightful combination. Research shows that consumers continue to look for pickle-flavored products, and 44% of Gen Z consumers think the crazier and more unique new foods are, the better. To meet the demand for new flavor innovations around hot sauce and other beloved favorites, like pickle, McCormick has launched three new products and partnerships over the last year: Frank's RedHot Dill Pickle, French's Creamy Dill Mustard, and Vlasic Frank's RedHot Flavored Kosher Dill Spears.
