About us
Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. We are driven by the excitement of building technologies, inventing products, and providing services that change lives. We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one. Together, Amazonians research and develop new technologies from Amazon Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world. Our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. Our actions, goals, projects, programs, and inventions begin and end with the customer top of mind. You'll also hear us say that at Amazon, it's always "Day 1." What do we mean? That our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon's very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and focus on delighting our customers.

Today at the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum, we announced we are partnering with HUMAIN, Saudi Arabia's newly created AI innovation company, to collectively invest $5B+ to build a groundbreaking “AI Zone” in the Kingdom. The AI Zone will bring multiple innovative capabilities to Saudi Arabia, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) AI infrastructure and servers with world-class semiconductors, UltraCluster networks for faster AI training and inference, AWS services like SageMaker and Bedrock, and AI application services such as Amazon Q. This builds on our $5.3B AWS Region investment and represents an important step in advancing Saudi Arabia's position as a global AI leader. We look forward to helping drive innovation and talent development across the Kingdom. https://lnkd.in/gb4Psgtk

Very cool breakthrough by our physical AI and robotics teams-- Vulcan is the first robot that combines sight and touch, and can feel its way through cluttered spaces the way humans do. Vulcan is helping make work safer by handling ergonomically challenging tasks, while creating opportunities for our teammates to grow their skills in robotics maintenance. https://lnkd.in/gAQk-Bbz

3, 2, 1…liftoff! 🚀 Congratulations to the Amazon Project Kuiper team on a milestone launch this week, successfully deploying and activating 27 broadband satellites into space. This is a massive step in the mission to bring fast and reliable internet to customers all over the world.
Important moment for Amazon Project Kuiper as we just confirmed our first 27 production satellites are operating as expected in low Earth orbit. While this is the first step in a much longer journey to launch the rest of our low Earth orbit constellation, it represents an incredible amount of invention and hard work. Am really proud of the collective team.
