Sometimes, breaking the rules is the right move. That’s what Brooklyn-based Nancy Kalish is doing with her small business, Rule Breaker Snacks. By offering vegan, gluten-free, and top 11 allergen-free snacks, she’s helping more people snack better. With premium, clean ingredients and delicious flavors like Birthday Cake and Deep Chocolate Brownie, how could we resist? It all started when Nancy decided to take her health into her own hands. A former health journalist, she developed recipes using chickpeas to satisfy her sweet tooth, which were not just a hit among family and friends but the start of Rule Breaker Snacks, too. And in 2021, Nancy appeared on an American business reality series, leading to a surge in orders. “We were overwhelmed by orders when I appeared on Shark Tank,” Nancy shared. “Luckily, Amazon was there to help.” Nancy was already selling in the Amazon store and had been since 2018, a decision she made because she was an ecommerce consumer herself. “It’s really important to me that my product isn’t just in a few health stores. I want it to be where a lot of people can access it, find out about it, and try it,” she continued. Learn more about “Chief Rule Breaker” Nancy at http://spr.ly/60475XYaH #SupportSmallWithAmazon

Now here's a small business story with a sweet beginning. Sarah Scarlet grew up in New Zealand to a beekeeping family. Sarah describes Manuka honey as "really, really unique" and says that it has been used medicinally for years. Her family had already been producing and shipping the honey to burn units and hospitals when she and her husband, Jono Scarlet, decided to move to Nashville to pursue their music careers. In Tennessee, Sarah saw an opportunity and had a goal of getting Manuka honey in every first aid kit across the country. That's when the couple started First Honey and launched in Amazon's store. Today, their products include sterile, medical-grade Manuka honey, bandages, eczema cream, and so much more. “Amazon was a no-brainer for us,” said Sarah. “The vision that we’ve got for new products, the ease and accessibility of people being able to get those products is really vital. We are essentially a first aid product. People need it urgently. They need to be able to get it quickly.” Read the full story at: https://lnkd.in/eR6R3MtE #SupportSmallWithAmazon
