Excited to share G2’s 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗕𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 today – based on responses from 1,900+ software buyers across the globe 🌎. AI was a major theme in the report, which found: 🤖 𝟱𝟲% of respondents said their org had purchased an AI platform within the last 3 months. 🤖 𝟳𝟳% agreed that software companies have genuinely advanced AI technology in their products beyond merely capitalizing on the AI hype. 🤖 Maturity & purchasing behaviors vary across 5️⃣ self-reported software buyer groups: AI Power-Users, AI Learners, AI Laggards, AI Buyers, & AI Non-Buyers — where 𝗖-𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 were most likely to describe themselves as “AI Power Users” vs other roles. Today Ironclad released our first “State of AI in Legal” report to help legal professionals understand how AI is affecting the industry. According to the independent survey of 800 legal professionals across law firms and in-house, 71% trust AI and 74% use it for legal work, with 92% reporting improved work quality as a result. Not surprisingly, in-house legal departments lead in AI adoption at 87%, compared to 60% for law firms. Other key findings include the top use cases for AI, top blockers to adoption, and sentiments around how AI might affect jobs or satisfaction.
