By now, you know we love a great bow. The dainty accessory can be the perfect finishing touch to any look. It toes the line between sophisticated and laidback, making it the ideal piece for feeling polished, but not stuffy. Celebrities like Chloë Sevigny, Zendaya, and Cardi B have all co-signed the hair bow for summer, each trying out the trend with their different aesthetics and styles. Now, Dakota Johnson is the latest to put her spin on the hair bow trend.

On June 16, Johnson's hairstylist Mark Townsend posted a behind-the-scenes look at the actor's hair on Instagram, showing off her look for the screening of her new film, Daddio in New York. In the photos, she's wearing a sheer boho-esque dress, and peeking out behind her hair was a sweet bow that was tied into her half-updo.

In the second slide, Townsend photographed the hairstyle up close, illustrating the intricate detail of the look. She wore her hair in a half-updo tied into a delicate knot adorned with a cream-colored bow. The rest of the 30-year-old's brown hair was curled in loose waves that gave an effortlessly chic feel, almost as if they weren't styled at all. Paired with her soft-glam and the sheer, ruffled Chloé dress, Johnson's spin on the hair bow trend felt like a nod to the boho-chic revival.

Johnson stuck to her typical makeup style—she wore fluttery black lashes with a soft bronzy eyeshadow. Pink blush softened her cheeks and matched with her barely-there pink lipstick look. Her makeup was courtesy of artist, Georgie Eisdell.

The actor's Chloé dress was sheer and had a cape silhouette that billowed off her shoulders. It was an ecru, off-white shade that looked angelic on Johnson when paired with the hair bow. Kate Young, Johnson's stylist, paired it with dangly earrings.

You can't go wrong with a hair bow, and Johnson's look is just further proof of the styling powder of the accessory. We'll be copying her voluminous updo with a pretty hair bow all summer long.
