On Jun 12th the Innovate UK Immersive Tech Network will be collaborating with EPAM Systems, Future+, & London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London to host an executive leadership seminar focused on spatial computing for luxury, fashion, and retail. We'll have an afternoon of interactive workshops, private demos of the Apple Vision Pro, and some networking drinks afterwards. 📣 FRIDAY FUNDING SPOTLIGHT 📣 Did you know your company doesn't always need to be based in a region or country to access that regional/country funding? DEADLINE: JUN 19TH With the Innovate UK Launchpad program, your company can be registered OUTSIDE OF THE SPECIFIED AREA in the UK as long as you grow your innovation activities during and after the project in the innovation cluster described in the Scope section. The Launchpad programme is aimed at supporting innovative SMEs to progress their ideas toward commercialisation, contributing to local economic growth in the specific clusters. Each Launchpad has been developed in collaboration with local leadership to strengthen innovation in targeted sectors. They align with the UK government’s goals outlined in the Levelling Up White Paper - https://lnkd.in/ePriHzV7. There are three clusters open right now that are relevant for #XR SMEs. All three offer £25-50K for SMEs that have not been funded by Innovate UK previously. It was a privilege to support Innovate UK Immersive Tech Network at the second annual #IUKImmersiveTechAwards last night at Imagination's London HQ. The talent on show was phenomenal, and we are thrilled to congratulate Royal College of Art's Bethan Hancock and University of the Arts London's Mostafa S. Ebrahimi on winning our two Grand Prize internships alongside Canolfan Mileniwm Cymru | Wales Millennium Centre and StoryLab Research Institute respectively. We can't wait to start working with you both!
