This past Thursday, our ELEMIS NYC team, along with members from our sister brand,L’OCCITANE Group, participated in the Race for Equity initiative, a three-week program encouraging movement and community involvement. We dedicated our day to volunteering with Hudson River Park and Friends.   We tackled tasks like weeding, pulling last season's daffodils and strawberries, and re-bedding the gardens. It was a great afternoon and even a surprise rain shower couldn’t dampen our spirits.   A big thank you to everyone who participated and to Hudson River Park and Friends for this wonderful opportunity! It’s World Peatlands Day: Introducing Our New RSPB Partnership  We are proud to be the first beauty company to partner with the RSPB, Europe’s largest conservation charity, on a long-term peatland restoration project. We will be supporting the ongoing restoration, monitoring and maintenance of an internationally important peatland habitat at Forsinard Flows Nature Reserve in Scotland, the UK.    Britain is one of the Earth’s most nature-depleted countries, with less than half of its biodiversity left compared to the 1970s. As a British-born brand, we want to help change that. Protecting and restoring peatlands helps to capture carbon emissions, improve water quality, supports flood management and provides a home for special species, as well as wild spaces for people to enjoy. One of our key focuses as a B Corp is helping to restore nature’s ecosystems through local projects that help fight biodiversity loss and climate change.
