eeeep I’m so excited for this one! this is my first chapter in Azriel’s POV and I’m hoping I have a solid characterization of him for y'all lol. I see Azriel as someone who really struggles with his own inner demons so I hope I’ve portrayed him well in that sense.

happy Wednesday everybody! as promised here is the sneak peek for chapter two of Mr. & Mrs. Berdara. I’ll be updating this story every Saturday, and you can read chapter one on AO3 here.
“Hey, it’s okay,” Azriel said. She was on the farther side of the bed and he shifted to sit so they were closer together. “Do you want to talk about it?”
“Not yet,” Gwyn whispered, sniffling. She let go of his arms and wiped away her tears, and he found himself wishing he could’ve done that for her. Then he reprimanded himself yet again; she was going through something and she certainly wouldn’t want his scarred hands anywhere near her perfect face.
“We can just sit here, if you want,” he suggested. “I don’t mind. It’s not like I get much sleep anyways.”
“I don’t want to steal any you might have gotten,” she said with a forced laugh.
“Trust me, you wouldn’t be,” he replied. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d gotten more than three or four hours throughout the night – growing up he’d trained himself to wake up every few hours to make sure he wouldn’t be caught off guard by his brothers coming to inflict further terror upon him while their father slept.
She went quiet, and he hoped he hadn’t been too forceful. What if she didn’t want to sit with him after all? Maybe she wanted to pretend this hadn’t happened in the first place. Maybe she didn’t want to be anywhere near him, and he certainly couldn’t blame her. He didn’t exactly inspire the warm and fuzzies in people like Cassian did, and he never had all the right words like Rhys did. And he certainly didn’t have the bonds of sisterhood like Nesta and Emerie did with her.
“Could you…” Gwyn began meekly, immediately pulling Azriel from his spiraling thoughts even though her voice was barely above a whisper. “Could you hold me for a minute?”

Here Comes the Bride (complete)
Summary: Feyre and Rhys are getting married, meaning that Nesta and Cassian have to spend a lot of time together as they help plan the wedding and prepare their family for their big day. The problem is, ever since they met, Nesta and Cassian couldn’t stand each other, and have been at each other’s throats since Feyre and Rhys started dating. When they’re forced to work together as the maid of honor and best man, will sparks finally fly?

Summary: Nesta and Cassian Archeron have been married for just over six years, but have no idea the other works as an assassin. When they’re both assigned to the same target and botch the job, they have forty-eight hours to take out the other. But all bets are off when they realize what their mission entails…
In other words, a Mr. and Mrs. Smith AU.
Summary: Imagine Nesta and Cassian both rushing to find a last-minute Christmas gift and both reaching for the same item at the same time. When they find out it’s the last one in stock, they begin arguing over who should get it. Cassian agrees Nesta can have the gift if she agrees to give him her number…
Summary: Nesta is at a bar after work when she runs into her ex-fiancé and panics. She walks over to a guy sitting not too far away and asks him to just play along…
Choose Your Character
Summary: Nesta and Cassian both frequent the same Dave & Buster’s and both have the same favorite game. When Nesta gets the new high score, Cassian comes back the next weekend and tops that score. In a slightly childish back and forth, they keep trying to beat each other’s high score every weekend. When a stranger comes in and tops both of their high scores by a huge margin, they have to team up to beat this new challenger, together. Can they work together to get the new high score, or is it game over for them?
When it Rains
Summary: My imagining of what happened the day the Archeron father’s grave marker was placed in Velaris. Set somewhere between ACOWAR and ACOFAS. The usual suspects included.
hi friends I did a thing and posted some Nessian stuff on AO3 and people are actually…enjoying it? I’m very shook. I’ve been scrolling through writing prompts on here and I’ve written a couple chapters of a modern AU where Feysand is getting married and Nesta is the maid of honor/Cassian is the best man. Also, bi!Nesta.
