📢 Presenting our new Eurofins Environment Testing France laboratory in Saverne! ⛰️ The town of Saverne is situated alongside the Rhine-Marne canal at the foot of the magnificent Vosges Mountains. 🏢 There lies our state-of-the-art 1,000m² building which brings together 25 of our IT experts and 25 dedicated employees working within Eurofins Analyses des Matériaux et Combustibles who specialise in the analysis of building materials, waste, and solid fuels. ✂️ We can’t help but smile as we watch this video of the site's inauguration, which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, themed workshops and full tours of the laboratory. She tells us more about Reunification Day, April 30th, marking the unification of North and South Vietnam: "Every year, Ho Chi Minh City hosts a cycling race, similar to Vietnam’s ‘Tour de France’, tracing over 2,000km to Independence Palace. We proudly raise flags nationwide to commemorate our reunification, often attending the national cycling race award ceremony at the site of the Vietnam War’s end on April 30th, 1975." Lisa Duong, a Business Development Executive at Eurofins Consumer Product Testing Vietnam Co., Ltd, provides insights on another cherished festival: "Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, on the tenth of the third lunar month, celebrates Vietnam's legendary founders. It's a vital part of Vietnamese spirituality, highlighting respect for ancestors and cultural heritage. My family and I observe this public holiday by visiting pagodas, offering food and incense in gratitude. UNESCO recognises the annual event at Hung Temple in Phu Tho as intangible cultural heritage."
