Sisley is a French company that creates and distributes skincare and make-up products, along with very fine perfumes. The d’Ornano family has been specialised in the creation of cosmetics for three generations and has created several world-renowned brands. When Hubert d’Ornano founded Sisley in 1976, the aromatherapy and phytotherapy wave had not yet hit Europe. The use of botanical active ingredients and essential oils in beauty products was still a highly innovative concept. Hubert d’Ornano understood very early on that the plant world offers an extensive field of research (there are around 800 000 different plants on Earth) given that the life of man is closely dependent on that of plants - to breathe, eat and heal. He was a true pioneer, combining know-how and a rigorous approach to specialise his research laboratories in Phytocosmetology.

    👾 "We Are Here", l'exposition Street art du Petit Palais, dont la Fondation Sisley-d'Ornano est mécène. Pour la première fois, le Petit Palais (Paris 8e) ouvre ses portes aux artistes d’art urbain, les invitant à engager un dialogue subtil avec ses collections permanentes et son architecture. Treize artistes majeurs du mouvement Street art comme Shepard Fairey, Invader, D*Face, Seth, Cleon Peterson, Hush, Swoon, Vhils, Inti, Add Fuel ou encore Conor Harrington investissent le Petit Palais avec des œuvres monumentales et tissent des liens avec les collections du musée. Cette déambulation conduit le visiteur jusqu’à une installation de plus de 200 œuvres. Une scénographie immersive invite le public à plonger dans toute la diversité et la richesse de ce mouvement artistique.     World Biodiversity Day - Restoring biodiversity by creating a meaningful challenge for our teams worldwide 🌱 The Sisley Tree Challenge is the annual rendez-vous with all our Sisley teams around the world, who run, bike and walk to support an environmental project. In 2022, for its first edition, Sisley partnered with the NGO One Tree Planted, to plant more than 78,000 trees in Australia, on territories devastated by fire, enabling biodiversity to be restored. In 2023, in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, the teams succeeded in restoring 60,000 square meters of damaged mangroves, in partnership with the NGO The Nature Conservancy and the municipality of Progreso.     Our New York teams partnered with SuitUp Incorporated to welcome 12 high school students to become Sisley CEOs for the day ✨ In four teams, the students and volunteers in a competition created a marketing plan for NEUR|AÉ, Sisley's new brand based on neuroscience. Their final presentation was reviewed by jim maki, General Manager of Sisley US, Octiavia Ortiz, Vice President of Human Resources, and Erin (Brown) O'Rourke, Director of Public Relations and Marketing, who gave glow and growth feedback to all teams, prepping them for the workforce. Everyone had a great time and all students got to experience a corporate culture and learn different things to help choose their future careers. A big thank you to the students, volunteers and to SuitUp for organizing such an amazing event! SuitUp is a 501(c)(3) education non-profit that increases career awareness for all students through innovative business competitions. SuitUp’s vision is to align the incentives of schools and corporations to ensure that all students have the access and awareness to pursue the college and career of their choosing. #empowerment #education #VolunteerSuitUp
