Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe From Purdue Dining & Catering

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup margarine
  • 1 ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 oz chocolate chips

Directions:

Cream together butter, margarine, and both sugars. Add eggs and mix. Add vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and mix until just combined; do not over mix. Add in chocolate chips.

Chill dough for at least 30 minutes. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for 1 minute then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
