HI SORRY i saw this this morning and then forgot to answer. im so smart

depends on the taur, obviously, but for canine n feline and stuff built like those beasts, loafing and laying down on the tummy like how those animals do is generally comfy. i generally just assume taurs (and furries as a whole) are flexible and work off of cartoon logic enough to where the upper body bending back or jsut holding straight up isnt uncomfy. horsies irl can also sit down and they look very silly doing it but they look comfy enough

also yeah laying on the side is generally preferred but i think they live in a world where huge beds n couches are more readily available. most of my taur daydreaming is thinking about large beds and blankets for my large fursona to lay on. i think taur beds n couches are lower to the ground as to allow easier getting on and off

emily lives in a furry utopia type town ive invented which i havent much talked about publicly BUT its mostly a walkable small town vibe and emily is capable of walking but bigger distances are annoying, which is why in-town is a tram type deal. with the roads very much not populated by cars the tram is super fast

public transport good and in the world im making the trams have adequate taur space

ALSO FUN THING IVE MADE IN TOWN bc no one has cars really, fast food places are more of a sit down n enjoy lunch type deal but the drive-thru systems and windwos are still there and they let taurs get in n out fast because a taur can just walk thru those

also absolutely. i think taur beds are pretty low to the ground given getting up from resting is a little different for taurs, and i think on pups bed is plenty of plushies. def a blahaj def that funny pink dragon orb plushie ive been obsessed with def a scolipede and other such pokemon. pillows too i think pup has some big L-shaped body pillows to wrap itself around. big piles of soft to trot out of in the morning
