Other digital wallets and wearables

With Tap to Pay on iPhone, merchants can also accept payments from other digital wallets and wearables that enable contactless transactions.

PIN entry

How to enable Accessibility Options for PIN entry

For customers needing visual or other assistance, accessibility options are built into Tap to Pay on iPhone to help them securely enter their PIN information. Simply select ‘Accessibility Options’ on the PIN screen. Audible instructions guide customers to draw their PIN on the screen or tap the screen to indicate each digit - tapping once for 1, twice for 2, and so on. To submit their PIN, they simply swipe right with two fingers.

[For Offline PIN markets only] Some cards are not able to complete contactless transactions using a PIN. If this occurs, simply ask the customer if they have an alternative contactless card or digital wallet and continue the transaction using Tap to Pay on iPhone.
