Copenhagen Economics A/S, Langebrogade 1B, 1411 Copenhagen K, Denmark (“Copenhagen Economics”), will as part of your communication and interaction with us, whether as a client, potential client, employee of a client or potential client, a supplier or as a business contact, collect and process personal data about you for the purpose of administering Copenhagen Economics’ relationship with you and/or the company that you work for.
Below you will find a description of the personal data which Copenhagen Economics will collect and process about you, as well as the purpose and on which basis Copenhagen Economics is processing the personal data.
To fulfil the agreement between you or the company you work for and Copenhagen Economics, Copenhagen Economics may collect and process the following personal data about you for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement entered into between you or the company you work for and Copenhagen Economics (e.g. to provide agreed services to you):
Legitimate interest. Copenhagen Economics may collect and process personal data about you for the purposes of administering Copenhagen Economics’ relationship with you which pursues a legitimate interest of Copenhagen Economics, and it is assessed that Copenhagen Economics’ interest in processing the personal data overrides your interests. Copenhagen Economics may collect and processes the above mentioned personal data about you for the above purposes.
Other personal data. Copenhagen Economics may as part of your interaction with us be processing other personal data, including personal data being processed as part of providing legal services. To the extent Copenhagen Economics must inform you about the processing of such other personal data, you will receive separate information about this.
Confidentiality. Your personal data will be treated as confidential information by those who are allowed to process the data, and will only be used for the purpose(s) as set out in clause 1.
Data processors. Copenhagen Economics may engage third party IT service providers that will have access to and process your personal data. Please be informed that the level of data protection as currently applied and enforced in countries outside the European Union does not conform to the level of data protection for personal data currently applied and enforced within the European Union. If such third-party services providers process your personal data outside of the EU/EEA, such transfer of personal data will either be subject to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Data retention. Copenhagen Economics will keep your personal data for as long as we maintain a relationship with you and thereafter for as long as there is a legitimate purpose for keeping your personal data, including where Copenhagen Economics is required under applicable law to keep the personal data.
Right to information. You can obtain further information on the personal data which Copenhagen Economics stores and processes about you by sending an e-mail to [email protected] stating this request.
Right to object. You may object to your personal data being processed. If you wish to object to your personal data being processed, please send an e-mail to [email protected] stating this request.
Right to rectification and restriction of processing. You may request that your personal data is rectified or restrict the processing of your personal data. If you wish to have your data rectified or restrict the processing, please send an e-mail to [email protected] stating this request.
Right to a copy of your personal data. You may be entitled to obtain a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format by sending an e-mail to [email protected] stating this request. If technically feasible, you may request that the personal data is transmitted directly to another company or person acting as a data controller.
Right to make a compliant. If you have any complaints about Copenhagen Economics’ processing of your personal data, you may contact the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
