no but- non-fanfic-writers don't understand-
they don't understand that sudden idea you get for a story... they don't understand why you have to PUT IT DOWN RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THIS IDEA IS AMAZING. they don't understand they way your brain obsesses over it before you even start writing it. they don't understand they tingle inside your chest and fingers to FiNaLly write iT dOwN- that you HAVE TO DO OR YOU'LL LITERALLY GO INSANE.
they don't understand how awesome it is after HOURS of thoughts on it, after rereading it 500 times after all that work you put into it- to finally publish it.
AND WHEN THEY GIVE ME KUDOS OR VOTES AND COMMENTS THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW FUCKING HAPPY THEY MAKE ME!!!
