YES! I started reading Warrior Cats in third grade and I've never stopped. Been planning to draw lifers as Warrior Cats forever but never got around to it.

It's almost poetic, watching Grian's Double Life pov, the difference between his meeting with BigB and his meeting with Scar.
Grian and BigB's eyes meet and they immediately both go "oh". The instant connection is audible. BigB very considerately asks Grian if he's ready before hitting him for the soulmate check. Even after they turn out not to be soulmates- which was disappointed- BigB still rushes to give Grian food when he takes damage and Grian later fondly remarks on how BigB "saved" him.
And then you have Grian and Scar, meeting in that ravine. Grian realizes they're soulmates and is miserable. Scar doesn't notice at all. Grian tells Scar, says it plainly, "I think we're soulmates", and Scar hears him because he responds, but Scar wasn't really listening. Scar spends the episode disregarding their shared health and when he finds out finally that they're soulmates he immediately asks "Do we have to live together?"
And it's just- it's night and day, right? When Grian and BigB look at each other it's instant connection, when Grian and Scar meet there's nothing. BigB is attentive enough to ask before doing the soulmate test and listen to Grian's answer, Scar hears Grian yelling to him that they're soulmates and doesn't even listen enough to process the words despite hearing them. Grian is devastated when BigB's not his soulmate, and devastated when Scar is. BigB wanted Grian as a soulmate, Scar didn't even want to base when they did find out. And despite not being soulmates, BigB still rushed to help Grian when he was hurt, while Scar ran off ahead into danger all episode (pillager outpost???) without considering his soulmate.
It almost feels like something out of a scripted series because their meetings are such shockingly relevant contrasting parallels.
