Question: would anyone be potentially interested in a ASOIAF book club? I’d probably start it in the new year but I kinda wanna see if anyone’s interested!

“as your protector, my queen”
Eventually I will write the Robert’s Rebellion fanfiction of my dreams.
Not today…but someday
Sometimes I really wish I hadn’t started my GoT fic so late but then I get gems like “Aegon knew about the Long Night” in House of the Dragon and then I get even more excited to write Nymeria eventually meeting the Targaryens and discovering who Jon’s parents are and I feel good about myself.
and then I remember I only just finished writing season one and have eight more to go
I personally think to offset the power of the dragons everyone in Westeros should have a gun.
In the Muppet Universe, genetics work the exact same way they do in the Game of Thrones universe.
N+A=J, Azor Ahai, and Dawn
Look, before you go and crucify me for presenting and actually believing this theory, just hear me out. I’m not here to convince you or bash on your theory, so please don’t do that with mine.
These are just my opinions and while proof for R+L is stronger and is probably what will happen in the books, I do think that people are missing out on the awesome potential for N+A.
This is not an attempt to prove it. There are people with more dedication and more time on their hands who have tried. I’m only here to discuss why I like this theory from a narrative standpoint better than R+L=J
TLDR: Jon is Azor Ahai and making him a Dayne gives him access to Dawn, cool warg magic, and the potential to be the Sword of the Morning, which I think is pretty sick.
So let’s go!
Okay listen, it’s been a year and. I’m just gonna say it.....

HOW THE FUCK DID GREYWORM, OUT OF ALL PEOPLE, SURVIVE UNTIL THE END??
Like, this man shows up in season 3 and we’re like “oh cool Dany has a loyal guy by her side other than Jorah, awesome”
AND THEN SOMEHOW ENDS UP BEING THE ONLY ONE FROM HER SMALL COUNCIL TO FUCKING LIVE???
Like I’m genuinely curious how that decision went down in the writer’s room. Were D&D just like:
D&D: “Okay so we got Dany dying, Varys dying, but we need one more.”
Some poor intern: “I mean, Greyworm’s kind of forgotten about, maybe him?”
D&D: *glare at the intern* “you know what? We’re gonna have him live just out of spite”
Cause that’s LITERALLY the only way I see it going down.
Who knows? Maybe they threw a dart at a board and were just like “alright cool” based on how the rest of the season went.

You know....I think The 100 might have a worse final season than Game of Thrones.
