This is from my recent Visual Development project, where I had to design 3 characters from a story of my own choice- which was the gothic vampire novel Carmilla! However, I set the story in the 1950s, and changed Carmilla to be more of a morally gray/anti-hero character so that the lesbian representation wasn’t vilified, as it is in the original. Additionally, Carmilla and Laura are totally dating.
