(ARTICLE) SHINee ONEW 'Even if I break, I want to try many things'
ONEW, who's preparing for a new album, is focusing on his work recently and told us,'I'm striving to try various things without hesitating, and to expand my perspective too. I focused more on my singing, but now, I'm also taking into consideration how the sounds and sources of the instruments that make the basis of music complement my voice'
The announcement of the new beginning at Griffin Entertainment is also another challenge for ONEW. He revealed,'I think I took on this challenge with a goal to lead [the processes] from start to finish. I wanted to discover a path that's truly mine, instead of going along with whatever that is given to me'
As someone who debuted 16 years ago, the accumulated experience ONEW had formed a gentle foundation to everything he does. When asked about the direction of music he's striving for, ONEW replied, 'As for now, I'm not sure' and expressed sincerely, 'I hope to influence many people positively. It feels good to hear that I have given them some comfort and hope in life. That's why I've decided to try doing more. I hope that, even if I break first, showing that I tried might encourage someone even slightly to take the first step'
