my mom... said some things to me about being the slayer. that it's fruitless. no fruit for buffy. she’s wrong. is she? is sunnydale any better than when i first came here? okay, so i battle evil. but i don't really win. the bad keeps coming back and getting stronger.

Her body, yeah. But her soul? Her essence? I mean, that could be somewhere else. She could be trapped in some sort of hell dimension like Angel was, suffering eternal torment just because she saved us. And I'm not gonna let her- I'm not gonna leave her there. It's Buffy.
