Accidentally Human

Accidentally Human

by MarlynnOfMany

When five fantasyland creatures get turned human against their will, they go Off To Beat The Wizard and get turned back.

The POV rotates between:

A centaur who can NOT manage to walk on two legs
A minotaur who misses having a proper range of vision
A harpy who will do unwise things to fly again
A pixie who thinks this is all very exciting!
A dragon who is furious and ready to bite someone about it

This is complete at approx 60k words; I’ll be posting a chapter an hour for the first few, then one a day until they’re all here. Onward!

Can't wait to see it finished

Reviewed at: Chapter 11

Though it is a story just beginning, it shows an interesting start. Already I can see that the world has great depth, as do the characters, and I cannot wait to see it to the end.

Already I can tell that I particularly like the wide and deeply varied cultures between species, and the characters from those species are unique. The world, though the story has only had the time to show a small glance, is already shown wide and varied. I anticipate greatly the revelation and exploration of all the exploration, especially the human culture.

Thoroughly enjoyable!

I'm rather enjoying the character work and the world building.

Each chapter shows the point of view of a different member of the party, and each member has their own personality and viewpoints to bring to the plot.

The world building is fun and gives an idea of what it might be like to live in a culture of multiple species, and of course their intrigues.
