You could be right. To me that would be a stupid move to make because users wouldn't know why their app is suddenly freezing or whatever. They would just give up on it and the platform if it continued.

Eventhough that seems stupid to do to me, we've all seen companies do dumb things like this before. But I have no idea if it's a new bug or this.

Same issue here on my Sony TV. Still works in my browser on my PC with no issues.

This started about 2 days ago for me on the 13th of June. I tried all the basic trouble shooting including wired vs. wireless connection on the TV. Factory resetting the TV and unplugging it over night. All the other streaming apps work fine, no issues there. I even tried uninstalling the updates to the app before I factory reset the TV.

I can't tell if it's a bug in the app or what.

I kept a log of all the weirdos I ran into over the years I worked at a computer repair shop. That was the worst job I've ever had. Nothing like it before or after it. I turned the log into a book.

I've done this. I had a co-worker that was fired during covid because he was just too deep into the conspiricies and his emotional state was too unreliable for smooth operations at work.

I asked him what he was so upset over. Why did he feel like the country needs to be broken up and there needs to be a civil war. He responded that the left is taking away their rights. They are going to take their guns away, force vaccines, protect pedophile.... It was all about what they were going to do and not about anything now.

He just cherry picked stories that fit his emotional narrative and believed it as fact. I've never met two Trump supporters that belive exactly the same thing. These are people that can just make up stuff and trick themselves into believing it as fact.

My friend's 3 year old son used to write obscenities on the walls in their home. I think they dealt with it well since he doesn't do it anymore. It's just what young children do to express themselves with they are frustrated and upset. Their brains are still growing and they have a lot to learn.

Years ago I worked for a man like this. He would just twist it into something positive about himself or ignore if a customer came in and had a lot of good points about why they didn’t like him or what he did. All of his failures were the closest person to him fault or didn’t happen at all or you asked him. But lots of stories about how he worked hard and had to try again and again to make it in life. Classic narcissist.
