I bought Max Mustard for Quest 2 while I wait for it to come out on PSVR2, and oh man, what a game! SERIOUS Astro Bot vibes! The levels are really nicely designed, and so colourful and charming! Max herself even has booster boots just like Astro! It's clear the developers have big love for Astro Bot because (and this is no criticism), there are sections of level design that are right out of our beloved PSVR game, it was both nostalgia and new at the same time :D
Anyway, I can't wait for the PSVR2 version with the higher frame rate and even prettier graphics! You won't be disappointed!
In other words, when did you realise you made the right decision by getting PSVR2?
For me, it has to be the moment I first put the headset on. I loaded up GT7 and loaded up Spa Francorchamps in a humble Toyota 86 GRMN. Unbelievable experience. I struggle returning to all flat screen games now, I love the immersion.
I just tried playing FW Ultra after a couple of months and the multiplayer is a complete desert. Im aware of the mess with the studio shutting down and stuff but come on. It's so graphically beautiful that if it was free many people would give a try and might "revive".
Tried Pavlov as well but honestly it doesn't compare. Pavlov is more like a kids game, like Fortnite.
So yeah , instead of letting it die, it'd be better if they give it for free. Devs are not proud of their jobs.

Was an early adopter of PSVR when it came out on the PS4, bummed I didn't get the second model with HDR passthrough lol. Glad I could reuse the Move controllers I had for the Eye on the PS3. Eyeballed PS VR2 for a long while, recent official PC support and a sale was enough to take the plunge. Got GT7 and am redoing licensing to relearn to drive. Grabbed S&S off plus, but wondering what is a true demonstrative experience for all that PS VR2 has to offer. Thanks for the suggestions!

Hey everyone,
I’m someone very new to VR, I’ve tried the Google Cardboard type VR before but not the PSVR or Quest type ones. I pulled the trigger now due to the sale and also the PC adapter which is coming soon.
I’m looking for game recommendations since I’m pretty sure I’m gonna get motion sickness, I did experience it when I tried the roller coaster on Cardboard VR. Please suggest beginner games that can ease me in.
I am gonna get Beat Saber and saw some post suggesting Moss, please drop if you have any more suggestions, thanks in advance 🙏
So I bought this DLC this morning and spent the last hour or so paddling around it.
First thing to note is that that when you choose freestyle from the menu you will then have the choice of normal or whitewater. Interesting to note that if you start normal there will be no whitewater because it is upstream from where you start. If you start with whitewater it looks like maybe when you finish that section of the river that you can transition into the normal area as the whitewater section ends at the beginning of the normal section.
They said it was their biggest environment and as far as the length of the river I would say that it is the case. It took me a fair amount of time to casually paddle though it. Although a chunk of that time was spent frustratingly trying to push a rubber duck through tight canyons to open water. When I went back to the menu at the end it showed 3.7 miles traveled today.
I don't know what people expect with whitewater. It was never high on my wish list. Don't get your hopes up that it is an extreme whitewater experience. There is a definite current to the point where I steered far more than I paddled. There were also a couple of decent drop offs. There were also a few points that had branches so I can't say that I saw it all but I think I got a good taste of it.
The environment is nice. During a day you will experience extremely bright areas in the open and darker areas as you navigate some of the tighter canyons. There is a little bit of wildlife to spot and a few dead ends I managed to find. There was one vista that opened up as I came out of a canyon that made me think, "wow, that looks nice".
My one complaint is that I did notice a good deal of texture pop-in on the foliage and canyon walls while casually paddling around. I don't remember the other levels being bad in this regard so it may be an issue because it is a bigger environment overall.
I certainly feel it was worth my $8, especially as someone who plays Kayak VR for the immersive experience and someone who has never even tried race mode (so I can comment on that mode here).
I’ve just got PSVR2 and last night I was watching some videos of people playing certain games.
I ended up watching videos of people falling over, running in to walls etc.
Have you ever done that? I had a friend tell me he hit his controller of a wall once.
Anyone who was on the fence like myself, you now have the chance to try it for free if you have premium.
As if the walking dead games weren’t enough incentive to upgrade for the rest of the month…
It cost me like $3 to upgrade for the remainder of my month. We’ll see if I can finish both walking dead games and this trial in time. 16 days left.
Seeing that the Kayak game in gonna be part of the DELUXE offering for june, is it safe to assume that we gonna get a free psvr2 game monthly? at least one game ?
because this will be more than great and some awesome news for psvr2 owners, present and future owners.
Hello! My psvr2 is coming in tomorrow and I have about 100 usd to spend on games, I’m thinking of getting re8, gt7, and no mama sky, leaving me with 15 dollars, besides those is there a good game on sale for about 30(usd)? Or should I replace nms with something else? (gt7 and re8 and non negotiable lol)
Edit: got nms for 15 used, got 30 to work with now, recommend me some games!
edit 2: got pavlov, thanks everyone!
I went ahead and bought Mixture for PSVR2 while it was 30% off. I know it has some bugs but the devs seem passionate about their game and at least they were willing to bring another 3D platformer to PSVR2 unlike Astro Bot. Hopefully some of the issues at launch have been addressed, and if not will be soon. I will post my impressions once I get a chance to play it.
Hi, I would like to know what other games use the kick in effect of the trigger on machine guns, eg: like the WCX Assault Rifle in re8 or the Blaster Rifle in starwars tfge, that it's feel like it should be. Not like an initial resistant and then just it's feels the haptics, not the full effect that kick your finger.
it's very dissapointed that the effect it's not present on games like Arizona sunshine 2, S&S, and even Re4. i recently bought Cross Fire Sierra Squad, and does't have it too.
So I really got the psvr 2 so that I can play on my playstation and pc but now with the adapter releasing in August and most features not in the cut for PC I'm confused if I should give it back and get the meta quest for the library and stuff or just keep it and enjoy it. I really wanna play games like IB cricket and stuff which PSVR doesn't have.
