Surry Hills Over 60s Social Group

Welcome to the first of our monthly social catch ups!
We will aim to have the catchup on the first Wednesday of every month.At these monthly catch-ups we will briefly introduce ourselves to each other, then ask for suggestions for upcoming events. We want this to be a very inclusive group, open to suggestions and input from everyone. This is an opportunity to meet like-minded people and make new friends, and of course there will be brunch (self-funded).

I will also be looking for another one or two administrators to help run the group, and of course anyone is welcome to host future events. Some of the events that we are planning will be posted shortly, and will include gallery visits, walks, the theatre, etc.

Join us for a morning of discovery, as we visit the AGNSW’s stunning North Building. Opened in late 2022, I am sure many people have not yet had the chance to visit the new gallery space.
The new building – Naala Badu, which means ‘seeing waters’ – is a series of light-filled pavilions and graceful outdoor terraces that step down towards Sydney Harbour. We will wander through the three free exhibitions currently on, and of course you can visit the gift shop on the way out! At 11.30am you can join us for morning tea at the Espresso Bar located on Lower Level 2.
