Richmond Nerds

This group is for people who read books like a brief history of time, who watch sci-fi, and who think that science is the best way to know things.

We are not just here to talk about science. We're here to meet one another, make friends, and have fun.

We can go to concerts, get drinks or dinner, hike, play games, have parties, hang out at river or go tubing, go to festivals, and anything else you want to do. I plan on having several mods who can come up with and schedule meetups at least once, and hopefully several times a week.

It looks like there's a geek group in Richmond that's just for women. But I'm not a woman, so I can't be in that one. So I'm starting this one for women and men. The only way you get restricted from this group is by being an asshole, harassing people, or picking political fights.

Our first meetup will be scheduled for the 15th or 16th of June. Ideas are always welcome!
