What we’re about
https://www.facebook.com/BangkokHiking/
This is a group for anyone interested in hiking in Thailand. All skill levels are welcome, but you should be physically active and able to do intermediate to moderately strenuous hikes. I started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. I would like to plan day trips/overnight trips from Bangkok on the weekends (especially holiday weekends) to explore the beautiful natural areas of Thailand. Anyone with experience or knowledge of Thailand's nature areas and an interest in the outdoors is encouraged to join!

See all- The Promise of Love TrailUdom Suk bus stop exit 1, Bang Na, BATHB 1,650.00
This trail and waterfall was one of King Rama IV and his queen’s most favorite destinations. They had visited and revisited this trail at least 14 times. Once his wife died from the boat sink accident, he had returned to this waterfall as it was their favorite place. He had built the pyramid near their pagoda and put her remainder there as the promise of love.
Not only that, this national park has a very beautiful waterfall that has water all year round, the trail is greenery even in dry season. We are lucky and get to visit their reservoir, which has been closed and just reopened for visitors a few days ago.

- Khao Wong Prachan Trail HikingSoi Wutthakat 24, Khet Thon Buri, KRTHB 1,500.00
Challenge hike at Khao Wong Prachan Trail. We are going to track the back trail of Khao Wong Prachan hill and pop up at the top peak where we find the temple, after visiting the temple we are going to hike the staircase back to the entrance. The staircase leading to the Giant Seated Buddha was just opened to visit, we can take extra steps to visit the Buddha too.
Help to Bring food to dog (Optional Activity)
- Let's help the starving dogs at Lopburi's Khao Wong Prachan Temple!!
- We noticed that the temple dogs and their puppies looked very hungry the last time we were there. Ordinarily, tourists would feed them treats and food, but with the rainy season upon us, less people are trekking down the trail to give these dogs a hand.
- In this trip, we will prepare dog food in the package of 500g to the temple's stray dog. We're going to need your assistance to carry the package up while enjoy the beautiful hike and the view of one of the Biggest Buddha image.
- You can put a bag of dry food in your backpack, hike to the top and donate it to the temple there. Cost of dog food is included in the trip price.

Facebook: www.facebook.com/BangkokHiking/ - Waterfall & Evergreen rainforest TrailUdomSuk, Khet Bang Na, KRTHB 1,700.00
This is a great trail in Khao Chamao-Khao Wong National Park, and one of our favorites visited. It's an excellent choice for a day trip to a waterfall and some rest and leisure.
This park is a great example of a hidden gem that only few tourists know and less visited. The waterfall has 7 stations where we can visit. The end waterfall is located at the end of the trail. On this trail you will enjoy both the waterfall and the rainforest for its beautiful landscape and refreshing swim.
