AI is democratizing expertise across the workforce, and today we're sharing our latest research on the opportunity for every organization to apply this technology to drive better business outcomes.
The future of work is not just about technology but about humanity. While the report focuses on AI's transformative potential, it also rightfully reminds us that uniquely human skills - creativity, empathy, judgment - will be more valuable than ever in an AI-powered world. The AI skills gap is an unprecedented opportunity for workers who are willing to upskill and adapt. This insight invites us to rethink our approach to education and workforce development in an era of rapid technological change.
AI to increase productivity, Increase sales, or save money....Awesome! But are organizations ready for it? Security? Governance? etc. that's where some of the real work lies. The question we hear regularly is "where do we start?" The adoption plan, can be a tricky undertaking because everyone's expectations or level of commitment to the new technology, is not the same. Sometimes just getting that plan started and bought into is the biggest hurdle. #Lunavi #NavigatingWhatsNext #AI
Hi
False statement, "AI is democratizing expertise across the workforce". Ai is only as good as the people behind it. I wouldnt trust Microsoft to be anything but leftist with their track record.
I think employee training is a key part for AI adoption
Wait a bit... "The data is in: 2024 is the year AI at work gets real. Use of generative AI has nearly doubled in the last six months,1 with 75% of global knowledge workers using it. " and then... "To help leaders and organizations overcome AI inertia, Microsoft and LinkedIn ..." I love Microsoft and the work being done on AI. But we need to be more clear and careful with these messages. What is it? Are people using, or not using? Fearing it, or finding it the next holy grail? What looks like is that the obvious suspects - tech people - mostly embraced the technology, with adoption diminishing as we get further from technical domains. There is also a huge difference in adoption when it comes to the size of the firms and nature of the business. At the same time, it feels like a lot of it is experimentation and way less productive uses of it. I believe we MUST address that together because of the huge benefits we can deliver to the individuals, enterprises and communities. It starts by being open, clear and transparent with the messages.
The old adage of “let the chips fall where they may” Or to “allow events to happen without trying to change them —usually used to suggest that one is willing to accept a result, whatever it may be”, pun unintended, as the “chips” are what powers AI and Leaders will need to change their way of thinking, in order to see transformational results.
Nothing harder than doing nothing in light of the freight train of opportunities lifting every body that hops on board!
