"A company that rejected me after three remote interviews and a take home test has sent this to me by post today."

Kinda insulting tbh.
"Oh we know that you've gone through hours of interviews and probably days/weeks of job searching, but we don't care. Have some of our extra candy that we keep on hand so that you won't give us a bad rating on glassdoor. Buh-bye!"
Please give out the company name because I want to make sure to never apply for a position under them whatsoever.
It's always so insightful reading the reasons why candidates feel so much safer using chat interview over video interviews ..
From our research paper launched at #siop24 this week based on analysis of half a million candidates globally

The hiring process will always have multiple sides to the story which I think all have some room for improvement, whether it be for moral or business reasons.
HR & RECRUITMENT — Please don't ghost applicants at any stage of the application process. If they don't pass a certain stage, tell them immediately. If interviews are underway, inform an applicant of a timeline you can meet. This way, they can be assured of a response. You don't know what they are going through for their loved ones, or how many interviews they have gone through to get paid for a role, and that takes a lot out of them.
APPLICANTS — Let's cut HR & Recruitment team members a little bit of slack. We don't know how they are doing, how many calls they have attended, and how many times they have asked the same questions and heard, most likely, the same answers. I know you're tired, they are, too. Feel free to follow up on your application status if you think it has been far too long since you've received any updates. I hope these articles will be of help:

COMPANY — Please take care of your HR & Recruitment team members. If needed, hire more people to handle the application process. Streamline your hiring process with your employees' feedback & recommendations, too. Your hiring process says a lot about you and how you care for your people and your future employees. It may bite you back in the future.
This is simply my opinion because let's face it, no company or process is perfect. But we can always go a little bit above and treat each other with kindness, whether it be for work or outside of work.

It's so frustrating to be told "Yes, we're sending you to the next round of interviews" in an interview (the third one so far), only to be ghosted for two weeks to be followed with a denial e-mail. If you're a recruiter and you're unsure if someone will make it to the next stage, don't tell them they're going to the next stage.
Edited to add: I don't genuinely blame the individual who told me I was going to the next round. It's just not good business practice and (less importantly) it was very upsetting to me, since this was one interview in over 150 applications.

A reminder to you and your internal care teams.
Your 'no show' rates for face to face interviews should NEVER be higher than 20%.
I.E. you arrange 10 interview for next week, no more than 2 people should cancel/not show up.
If it's higher than this, please contact me.
Have a lovely weekend.

*Recruiters when a candidate responds to the InMail immediately and sets up a time to chat that same day*
I have seen lots of people post about this, but if a recruiter reaches out, try to get on a call with them sooner than later.
Timing is everything and a few days could be the difference between you getting an interview and someone else having an offer before you get the chance to interview.
