We easily celebrate trophies. We see success in being awarded #1. Our society loves a winner. What's easily missed, really not celebrated, is the quiet wars people conquer each day. The imperfect isn't seen worthy of celebration. Society would rather you turn up with a smile, pretend everything is ok, and not make everyone uncomfortable. Well. In celebration of #internationalwomensday, I wanted to share a story about our fearless leader. Last month, amidst the vibrancy of our sales celebration in Hawaii, I had the honor of conversing with Anneliese Olson, our SVP & Managing Director for North America. Her advocacy for women and encouragement of men as allies is nothing short of inspirational!! But….there’s more to the story! Because it was a plus one event, I also met her husband. Curiosity led me to ask him, “How proud are you of your wife?” As his eyes lit up, and his voice grew louder with excitement, he responded with the themes below: 1. Results, No Matter What: Anneliese’s relentless pursuit of solutions transcends work, infusing their home life with the same spirit of determination. 2.
