Decisions drive Army operations and battlefield success. Developing and implementing better decision support systems to maximize leader decision-making is fundamental to the Army of 2040 and beyond. Looking forward to prototyping, experimenting, and being part of decision-support community. "Combat Capabilities Development Command and Army Futures Command headquarters are "going to start to turn up the volume on new S&T initiatives that they're going to be working on to evaluate or reevaluate what command and control needs to look like in the future within that large-scale combat operations context," he said. "What does that next-generation C2 capability to be? That's going to involve some prototyping, it's going to involve some experimentation, industry outreach, user feedback, all of that."

Making good progress
The National Defense magazine recently produced an "Army report card" grading the Army's 24 modernization efforts (https://lnkd.in/enwE_xJ5). Super proud that two of Cole Engineering Services, Inc. (CESI), a By Light Company programs are included! The Training Simulation Software/Training Management Tool scored an incredible A-. The TSS/TMT is one of the first US Army programs to adopt the Software Acquisition Pathway approach, demonstrating that Agile software development can accelerate capability to the warfighter.

U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) this shift is taking place in the PEOs. It is now time for us to change along with them. We must standardize, to the best of our ability, the way we test like systems and like components aka Evaluation Framework. We must integrate/link that Eval Framework into the systems engineering architectures requirements. We must integrate with programs as early as possible and assist MatDev's through lifecycle to incorporate full coverage unit tests, and stream results data and other telemetry data to data processing pipelines viewed in dynamic dashboards.
