Which strengths do you believe have contributed significantly to your success in your professional development? #LifeAtGoogle
Determination to be successful in my life choices.
Positive mindset and learning
Perseverance: I like to solve a problem, and even if a straight-forward search does not get me the answer, I continue to get new ideas on what I can try or look for to resolve the issue. This also qualifies as a weakness as it's typically a timebox, manager, or lack of funding that forces me to give up. Willingness to learn: it's impossible to know the entire industry, but I want to!
Communication skills, grit, and learning by “doing”. You’d be amazed how far that gets you, and the plethora of skills you'll pick up in the process. A lot of people get held down by feeling like they need to be experts before trying new things. DO IT SCARED!
The fact that I was always frank with my customer and never made impossible promesses kept my customer and boss trust high toward me so I was able to perform at my best. Also the fact that was always trying to teach what I learned to my colleague. Later on when I switched to the HR part of the trade and went to work in a union, again the fact that I was respecting the people for who they are and not for the title they had helped me a lot in gaining the respect of all side. And respect is everything.
Not to repeat the same mistake
the desire to actually understand
Vision to realize that there are impacts beyond just my projects that need to be considered.
Probably, the ability to get out of comfort zone when needed.
