The second gamedev.world global developer conference is an octolingual games conference starting on December 9th. It's a ridiculous event to organize - everything has to be done in 8 languages, translating a 8x8 language matrix is absurdly expensive, and our team is a tiny, scrappy group of people with a fervent belief in democratizing development knowledge.
But what we get in return is incredible. Working with a super-diverse lineup of 30 speakers speaking 8 languages from every corner of the world, you learn so much about game development just by hearing the different perspectives, and the various opportunities and obstacles people elsewhere face. You'll never be able to hear most of these speakers speak anywhere else - and even if you did, you wouldn't understand them.
gamedev.world is a labour of love, but it's obviously also a deeply expensive and logistically complicated event. We've been blessed with Xsolla's support, and a wide variety of kind sponsors, and right now, all that's left is for people to tune in. So, I have a small request: take a minute to check out the (incredible!) schedule, and if there's even a single interesting talk on there for you, please take a moment to signal boost the event, and join us this weekend for the conference. The more folks show up, the more often we can do this, and the more we can chip away at the language barrier in game development.

2moHey Brandon! I reached out to Heather Walters to set up a time to meet. She said she would give you my meeting link, but I haven't seen any time booked. Let's connect and find a time to meet up!
