The Regional Retail Sales Manager will be accountable for all aspects of regional sales performance and for leading and developing their store teams. They are responsible for meeting and/or exceeding sales objectives for the region. Ensure that the store principals and Lacoste culture and core values are followed consistently and that each store provides an elevated customer experience. Serve as an ambassador for their assigned region and play a key role in coaching and developing the in-store regional sales team. This role will oversee a total of 10 stores; 8 outlets, and 2 Boutique in the Texas Region. The incumbent for this role must reside in Houston, TX.


Play as One Team

Develop high performing store leadership teams that will efficiently deliver store standards and deliver profitable sales. Communicate annual goals and administer annual performance reviews to deliver high performance. Execute corporate direction on a consistent basis across all stores. Manage and grow Store Managers through regular check-in conversations, ongoing performance documentation, the annual evaluation process, and business goal setting.


Consistently staff, plan and execute Lacoste standard of store operations. Ensure stores are executing Standard Operating Procedures/Processes. Enable Store Managers to drive store operations in line with local and global priorities by providing them with the information, tools, resources, and support they need. Drive change and culture for continuous improvement. Promote a safe and secure work environment to ensure that all safety issues are documented, safety policies and procedures are followed and practiced. Collaborate cross regionally to ensure support and execution of regional business and people strategies. Establish and maintain visibility within the region.


Collaborate with corporate business partners as needed. Provide feedback on business, product, and processes.

Develop and create a culture of financial accountability with regional team and store leadership. Drive the development of store sales and expense budgets and operating metric goals. Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet and exceed targets. Anticipate local challenges and opportunities that impact the region. Plan, implement, execute, and evaluate strategies for continued growth of sales and profitability.

Model a service focused selling environment that creates positive and consistent customer experiences within all Lacoste stores. Provide feedback, guidance, and training to store managers and store teams on delivering an elevated service experience.

Understand market trends and know the competition within the market. Create and share ideas to drive sales based on business results, business goals and retail knowledge. Identify ways to drive elevated service and increase sales within the market. Work collaboratively with peers and business partners to solve challenges and create solutions to enhance selling opportunities


Requirements/Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of relevant retail sales experience overseeing multiple stores.
  • Expertise in delivering service, driving sales, and creating best-in-class customer experiences.
  • Financial acumen to analyze data for decision-making.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to manage, motivate, and coach a team.
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize one’s workload. Must be able to proactively take initiatives with sometimes limited direction.
  • 85% travel: Position must reside in the district. Must be able to travel to all locations in your district regularly to monitor performance and provide support and training.
  • Coaching and training skills required. Must be able to communicate Lacoste policies and procedures in a clear and concise way.
  • Innovative thinker with a best practices approach to understanding business, including the ability to analyze the business and identify new functional growth opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making, tech-savvy, experience using KPIs to track success and leverage the business.
