I appreciate your contribution wholeheartedly. As a recruiter providing a candidate experience I want to ensure those candidates we screen and interview know why we've passed on them and oftentimes canned auto responses doesn't always reflect the reason why we went with someone else. It can be frustrating. People can feel a sense of rejection and start asking "what's wrong with me?' We can take it personal when it has nothing to do with us because we're talented and fabulous just as much as the next person. So if candidates ask for feedback about why we passed on them I am willing to provide that for them in a meaningful and professional way. 7 times out of 10 candidates are understanding ;)
