Preview your outstream and in-stream video ad on the LinkedIn Audience Network

You can preview how your outstream and in-stream video ads will appear on the LinkedIn Audience Network using ad preview in Campaign Manager. 

Outstream video ads appear as standalone ads within the content of a webpage, and in-stream video ads play within a long-form video on an Audience Network publisher’s webpage. 

Important to know

The preview isn’t an exact representation of how your ad will display on the website. For Audience Network placements, publishers ultimately optimize for ads based on their specifications, so video ad renderings can vary.

To preview your outstream and in-stream video ads after you’ve launched your campaign: 

  1. Sign in to Campaign Manager. 

  2. If you need to switch accounts, click the account name in the upper-left corner of the page and select the correct account name from the dropdown. 

  3. Click the campaign group and campaign name where the ad is saved.  

  4. Click the Ads tab, then click the More icon to the right of the ad name and select Edit

  5. Click the More icon to the right of the ad and select Preview

  6. Select Native to see how your outstream video will render on the Audience Network. Select In-stream to see how your in-stream video will render on the Audience Network. 

You can also preview how your video ad will look during campaign creation by clicking Preview at the top of the ad creation page.

Here's a tip

We recommend video ads be 15-30 seconds long for the best viewing experience for both outstream and in-stream video placements.
