When creating your Lead Gen Forms, you’re required to include a privacy policy URL. You should also describe how you’ll use the collected leads. To obtain the members’ specific consent for each of the uses you describe, you must manually enable one or more custom checkboxes during form creation for them to appear on your forms next to the respective use descriptions.
When you create a Lead Gen form you’re required to enter a privacy policy URL in the Form details section. You can also add additional privacy policy text that will appear on the form below the form questions or add custom checkboxes to outline the specific types of consent you need to collect.
Privacy policy URL: This web page should be solely dedicated to your privacy policy. A link to the URL will appear on your form. This is a required field when creating a Lead Gen Form.
Privacy policy text (optional): This text will appear on the form below the link to your privacy policy. It can include your primary use description which states what you intend to do with the member's information that they are choosing to submit on the Lead Gen Form. You can also use this optional field to highlight relevant provisions from your privacy policy. If you need to collect more specific consent, you can add custom checkboxes in the Lead details & custom questions section.

To get the members’ specific consent for any additional ways you intend to use their information, you have the option to use our custom checkboxes. You can add custom checkboxes in the Lead details & custom questions section when creating a Lead Gen Form. Additional use descriptions should be entered in the Checkbox message field for custom consent checkboxes. Custom checkboxes are optional when creating a Lead Gen Form.
To create a custom checkbox:

Sign in to your LinkedIn Ads account and follow steps to create a new Lead Gen Form.

In the Lead details & custom questions section, click
Add a custom checkbox. -
Enter the use description that you’d like your campaign audience to see next to your checkbox in the Checkbox message field (max 500 characters).

If you’d like your checkbox to be a requirement for form submission, check the Required box. If you’d like the checkbox to be optional, leave the Required box empty.
