Women and girls with disabilities continue to face multiple challenges, including: ❌Double discrimination ❌High rates of gender-based violence, stigma, sexual abuse, neglect, maltreatment, and exploitation ❌Limitations on their rights to marry and build a family ❌Loss of custody of their children. We need to work with them and their organizations to identify their concerns and how to best address them, while engaging them as agents of change. #COSP17

📄It's not just a paper. It's the right to get married to whom you love. It’s the right to be who you are. It’s the right to live in dignity and respect. Many countries still have discriminatory laws that criminalize consensual same-sex relationships. This #PrideMonth and beyond, let us support the equal rights of the #LGBTIQ+ community.
