Events --> [something, something] --> sales. We know it's our job to fill in the blanks of what happens to turn an engaged attendee into a qualified lead— but how many of us feel confident in those steps and processes? And how many of us have great, open communication channels with our Revenue teams? In truth, those 'something somethings' are a lot harder to define than they should be, especially when working with collaborators in Sales isn't that straightforward. If the steps in between have you feeling a little lost, great news: we're bringing in powerhouses from BOTH sides of the events/sales equation to share their tips and experiences making cross-functional magic happen. Join us on Tuesday, June 18th to fill in the blanks with Noelle Peterson, B2B-I, DES, CEP, Senior Director of Global Events and Field Marketing at UserTesting, and Kate VanLue, VP of Sales & Partnerships at The Juice. Picture this: You're responsible for building nearly 600 event registration sites per year 🤯 If that exercise just gave you cold sweats— same. But for Josh Shepherd and his team at Atlassian, that's showbiz, baby. While most of us would just be treading water with so many events on our plates, the Atlassian team is thinking way beyond staying afloat. Thanks to the repeatability of building events in Swoogo, Josh's team is free to focus on making each event better than the last. “We’re trying to design even better experiences so people will love coming to our events, and love coming back.” Want to learn more about how Atlassian manages a massive event portfolio without breaking a sweat? It's safe to say if you run events, you're sitting on a ton of event data— 'sitting on' being the operative phrase. We know we need to measure. We're great a reporting raw metrics. But chances are, a lot of it is being reported... and immediately forgotten. So what makes event data sticky? What makes it easy for revenue teams to put into action? We'll never know 🤷♂️ KIDDING, kidding— Matt Tonkin, VP of Consulting & Partnerships at Revenue Pulse (RP) is the guy with the answers, and he's giving us masterclass on turning event data into actionable insights. Join us on Wednesday, June 5th, at 1PM EST for our event data nerdout. Click the link to register for the webinar 👇 https://lnkd.in/gFM4vNRg

This month we, along with our partners at Brella and Noodle Live, hosted our 3️⃣ rd networking dinner of the year, this time in London. Our goals for these dinners are, loosely: 🤔 Bring local events communities together to share ideas and solve problems together 🥘 Show off a cool venue local event organizers may not have heard of yet ✨ Curate good vibes So by all measures— smashed it; thanks to our guests, partners, and vendors. An extra special thanks to all of our attendees for making the evening sparkle; questions we never thought to ask got answered, important conversations were had, and many new friends were made. Next up: New York and Los Angeles. Let us know if you're in the area and want to tag along! cc: Venue: Decimo at The Standard Hotel, London Photographer: Stefan Jakubowski

Four years ago, Swoogo's Director of Product and founding team member Neil Keefe lost his long-fought battle with amyloidosis. Neil was a bright spot on the Swoogo team; soft-spoken but quick with a joke, always game for an after-work pint, a friend and supporter to all that knew and worked with him. Each year, we aim to honor and remember Neil by partaking in one of his great loves: cycling. Last weekend, four friends and members of the Swoogo team led the way by biking 64 miles in San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club's Wildflower Century Ride. This ride not only embodies the spirit of Neil's passion for bicycling, but is part of our mission to continue raising funds for the Amyloidosis Research Consortium (ARC). We invite you to learn more about their work, and make a donation if you're able. Thank you to our cyclists, and the entire Swoogo team who supported them on their ride. 🍻 To Neil
