People living in poverty want a better life, but many lack opportunity. At Soles4Souls, we turn unwanted shoes and clothing into opportunity, by keeping them from going to waste and putting them to good use - providing relief, creating jobs and empowering people to break the cycle of poverty. Together with our supporters and partners, we’ve gotten 94 million pairs of shoes and pieces of clothing to people in 138 countries and all 50 US states since 2006

♻ Reebok recently partnered with Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA) to host over 40 guests from shoe brands, retailers, and suppliers worldwide for a Sustainability Roundtable. Key shoe sustainability and innovation leaders discussed challenges and new ideas to help our industry keep moving forward on traceability, bio, circularity, and more. 🤲 Our CEO, Todd Krinsky, gave opening remarks for the event, focusing on how great it is to see industry leaders from all different brands come together to collaborate and leave the competitive marketplace at the door. 🍻 The day culminated with FDRA’s signature @Brews & Shoes Networking Event, which hosted over 100 people from the footwear industry. All proceeds went directly to Soles4Souls, and Reebok also donated pairs of sneakers to the organization. 🙏 Thank you, Andy Polk, for facilitating this great event at Reebok!

I just returned from a trip to the Dominican Republic with Soles4Souls. Thirteen volunteers joined us as we gave close to 750 children new shoes and spent time with our 4Opportunity partners there learning how shoes donated to us are creating economic opportunities for families struggling to survive. A huge thank you to Jack, his cousin William, and their friend Jack, sophomores at Kellenberg Memorial HS and Chaminade HS, for their incredible effort through the Let's Change the World Initiative! 🌍 Their first project, a local shoe collection for Soles4Souls, was a massive success, collecting about 1,300 shoes! For the second year in a row, we’re honored to team up with nonprofit partner Soles4Souls to show our gratitude for teachers across the country. 📓🍎 Inspired by the Coach Foundation’s Dream It Real mission, which aims to create opportunities and remove barriers for the next generation of young people who have the courage to dream it real, who better to recognize than the teachers who have the courage to help students make their dreams possible? So we jumped at the chance last month to surprise 1,500 educators at low-income schools with Coach pop-up shops during Teacher’s Appreciation Week. Over 160 Coach store team members volunteered at local events in Miami (FL), Chicago (IL), New York (NY), and San Jose (CA) to help teachers ‘shop’ a variety of Coach handbags and accessories to take home – at no cost to them. These sweet kiddos from Eastern Christian School-Wyckoff Campus worked hard to collect 427 pairs of shoes for Soles4Souls. They had a great time over the course of three weeks making posters to hang up around the school, giving announcements over the intercom, and collecting, pairing and bagging the shoes.
