No GPS? No Problem. Shield AI's Hivemind and EC Micro Lead The Way. We’re excited to announce that Shield AI’s groundbreaking Hivemind stack is now seamlessly integrated with our state-of-the-art Edge Compute (EC) Micro platform on Kratos Defense and Security Solutions’ MQM-178 Firejet. This powerful combination revolutionizes autonomous missions and edge computing technology. Our EC Micro enables Shield AI’s Hivemind to autonomously create detailed maps and execute missions—no GPS, waypoints, or comms needed. The high I/O throughput and integrated CSAC ensure real-time decision-making and precise operations, even in GPS-denied environments. Together, we are pushing the boundaries of modern warfare, enhancing operational efficiency and autonomy at the tactical edge. #EdgeComputing #AutonomousSystems #DefenseInnovation #MilitaryTech #TechNews #Innovation

Real Aircraft, Real Autonomy: Shield AI Hivemind + Parry Labs EC Micro "This integration with Parry Labs’ EC Micro enhances our ability to rapidly deploy our AI Pilot across various platforms, more efficiently than working with multiple individual companies. As autonomy becomes essential across all platforms, the speed of implementing these solutions is crucial and will ultimately define the success of platform providers. Importantly, our AI pilot operates self-contained on the aircraft, setting it apart from today's remotely piloted aircraft." One more week until Eurosatory... see you in Paris! Stop by booth B214 to talk about V-BAT's real-world impact and recent successes, how every ship can be an aircraft carrier with intelligent teams of V-BATs, and how we’re integrating our Hivemind AI Pilot on jets! PLUS: On Monday at 1530, head over to the exhibitor’s corner for Brandon Tseng’s presentation on AI Pilots; on Tuesday at 1000, hear from Brandon again on the “Defense Unicorns and Rising Stars” panel in Hall 5B, Bravo. The greatest victory requires no war. #Eurosatory2024 #C4ISR #DefenseTech #VBAT #AI

We love to fly at Shield AI. The MQ-35 V-BAT executed 484 sorties last month; 292 of those sorties were across 5 different continents. This new record is double our previous best (Dec. 2023), but records are meant to be broken. Our flight operations and aircraft engineering teams are relentless in their pursuit of excellence because delivering the best operational capabilities to ensure mission success and makes our customers proud is what we live for! If you're eager to join a team that builds or flies what we aspire to be "the greatest targeting and reconnaissance aircraft of all time," check out our open roles today: https://bit.ly/OpenRoles24 The greatest victory requires no war. #VBAT #Hiring #MQ35 #GreatestVictory #TechJobs #AircraftEngineering #FlightOperations #EngineeringJobs

Evolving Warfare: From Exquisite Manned Aircraft to Affordable & Intelligent Drones “Prior to 2001, the United States was all about very expensive, exquisite, crewed platforms. Fighter jets, helicopters, you name it. Then from 2001 to 2020, we learned to fight with drones. Then from 2020 to now, and for the next 20 years, we're moving toward a world of intelligent, affordable drones." - Brandon Tseng Read more about how this shift is reshaping the battlefield from Axios' Colin Demarest https://lnkd.in/dguSY8vz The greatest victory requires no war. #GreatestVictory #DroneWarfare #UnmannedAircraft #DefenseTech

Happy 9th Birthday, Shield AI! Nine years ago, defense-tech wasn't a thing. Shield AI hadn't raised $1B, the DoD thought AI was only for recognizing images in video feeds (many still do), and the threat the world was concerned with was ISIS. The term AI pilot hadn't been coined, and few understood that AI pilots solved electronic warfare (GPS jamming and comms jamming). What we are most proud of and what keeps us going 9-years into this journey is the impact our products are making. Our AI-piloted quadcopter has brought home service members safely to their families, rescued hostages in Israel. Our MQ-35 VBAT has interdicted billions of dollars of drugs in the Caribbean Sea and found countless targets abroad. And our AI pilot has fought against humans in live F-16 training dogfights and flown the SECAF. The first 9 years were about building the world's best AI pilot. The next 9 are about putting a million AI pilots into our customers' hands to deter war. Thank you to our investors, customers, champions and teammates who helped Shield AI achieve this fantastic milestone. This year's journey is captured in 9 photos that reflect the spirit of our achievements and our team’s dedication. The greatest victory requires no war. Photo explainer: 1. Nova 2 in Israel: Our AI-piloted quadcopter played a crucial role in hostage rescue operations in Israel. 2. V-BAT Teaming Launch: Successfully launched V-BAT Teams, transitioning from concept to operational reality. 3. Strategic Acquisition: Enhanced our ISR capabilities through the acquisition of Sentient Vision Systems, adding valuable expertise and team members. 4. Collier Trophy Finalist: The DARPA ACE team was recognized as a finalist for the Collier Trophy, an annual award presented to those who have made the greatest achievement in aeronautics or astronautics. 5. Series F Closure: Successfully closed and then boosted our Series F round, raising $500 million to further our mission. 6. Tripled V-BAT Production: Increased production capabilities at our “Batcave 2.0." and welcomed Space-X alum Armor Harris to the team. 7. Drug Interdiction: MQ-35 V-BAT interdicted billions of dollars in drugs in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility. 8. SECAF Flight: Our AI pilot flew the Secretary of the Air Force in an X-62 (modified F-16). 9. MEU Deployments: V-BAT Completed a record 17th deployment with Marine Expeditionary Units, operating across 14 time zones for 24/7 coverage.
