Thank you Marija Manojlovic for highlighting the Universal Classification Schema as one of the riskiest projects, yet a changemaker and one of the most succesful initiatives that Safe Online has ever funded. Very proud to have launched this initiative together with Scott Anderson and INHOPE 's hotlines to enable collaboration between different jurisdictions to combat online child sexual abuse. The only way forward is by sharing understandable data between hotlines, law enforcement agencies and industry platforms and we will make this happen. The whole presentation by Marija Manojlovic & Iain Drennan is worth a watch - very insightful - specific highlight of Universal Classification Schema is at 38 mins 27 secs: What are examples of some of the most inspiring things you have seen as a key funder in this space?

Very glad to have participated laste week in the regional workshop to end CSEA in West and Central Africa organised by #ecpat with support from #safeonline. It was an excellent opportunity to discuss with civil society and other CP practitioners and young women best practices and how to accelerate actions in the region in addressing CSEA, including online. I was proud to share the journey of Ghana so far in enhancing the national child protection system for the safety of children also online and learn from other countries’ experience.

Today, the World Economic Forum’s Global Coalition for Digital Safety launched a white paper, which aims to provide an overview of metrics and measurements in digital safety. The community paper “Making a Difference: How to Measure Digital Safety Effectively to Reduce Risks Online” categorizes impact, risks and process metrics, allowing stakeholders to monitor and report on these vital elements effectively. Whether evaluating the efficacy of interventions or monitoring the consequences of digital safety measures, the information presented is indispensable for those dedicated to enhancing accountability in their operations. Our ongoing efforts will continue in evaluating digital safety risks and improving digital safety outcomes in the digital realm for everyone's benefit. Read our paper here: https://lnkd.in/eHsq4FEp
