Excellent healthcare is as much about caring for patients as it is about caring for our front-line workers. We know when our workforce thrives, so do patients. This is especially true in the case of the nursing workforce, who deliver holistic care by providing emotional support and connection alongside their medical expertise. In our latest episode of PG Pulse our Chief Nursing Officer, Jeff Doucette DNP, RN, FACHE, FAAN is joined by our HX24 Nurses of the Year award recipients, David Willis, BSN, RN, CEN, from Orlando Health and Annielyn O., MSN, RN, CWOCN, DAPWCA from Cedars-Sinai. These nursing leaders dive into what ignites nurses’ passion, how to cultivate resilient teams, how to forge human connections in the digital age, and the art of self-care in the face of uncertainty. Our team visited some familiar friends at Children's Nebraska in Omaha to see nursing excellence in action! Last year we honored Children’s Nebraska on stage at the ANCC National Magnet Conference® for their work on “Project Austin,” an initiative designed and led by clinical nurses to deliver personalized care plans to children with medically complex conditions and needs. This program works to bridge the knowledge and training gap between the hospital and the patients’ home. We’re proud to work alongside the American Nurses Credentialing Center to recognize and support organizations like Children’s Nebraska who are leading innovation in the industry and transforming care. 📸 Check out our Chief Nursing Officer Jeff Doucette DNP, RN, FACHE, FAAN onsite with the Children's Nebraska team below!
